DESCRIPTION:

You can view our upcoming scheduled classes on our Facebook Events page.

This course will accommodate a maximum of 15 students per session.

This intensive 8-hour course is designed to teach students how to provide first-aid to traumatic injuries, with a particular focus on the types of injuries likely to occur from gunshot wounds. This course will concentrate on providing multiple emergency techniques to stem serious bleeding and preliminary shock management until first-responders arrive. **Graphic video content will be shown during this course**

Students who complete the class will leave equipped with knowledge that will allow them to rapidly assess casualties for life-threats and stabilize the most common causes of death from gunshot wounds.

Students who already own a “blow out kit”, “trauma kit”, or even just a first-aid kit or single tourniquet are encouraged to bring this gear with them to class for evaluation by the instructors and integration into the class discussion.
